The Village Tavern’s Chef Luis to cook at The James Beard House
Take a break from the bright city lights and step inside the Beard House as it transforms into the comfort and warmth of a small-town family joint. For this one special night, as Guatemalan-born chef Luis López steps away from his kitchens at the Village Tavern and Romolo Gastro-Pizza in Ridgefield, Connecticut, to offer NYC diners (alongside owner and six-time World Pizza champ Bruno DiFabio) a sampling of his passion, years of experience, and most beloved flavors.
“To be part of an elite group of people to cook at the James Beard House is a tremendous honor. I can’t wait for everyone to experience the culinary magic that Chef Luis has to offer. People will be blown away!,” said DiFabio.
The dinner is open to the public and reservations are available on first-come, first-served basis. Click here for further details and to reserve your spot OR sample some of Chef Luis’ food locally at The Village Tavern
